The Generosity of God
and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5 NASB) For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:6 NASB) As I grow older and learn more about the depths of the work of Christ in the Gospel, I believe that I will be spending the rest of my life, and into eternity, coming to grips with the incredible generosity of God. I believe perhaps the greatest act of generosity which impacts believers day to day is the presence of the Holy Spirit, God literally dwelling within and filling the believer in Jesus.
